19 May 2013 Global day of prayer

"When the day of Pentecost came, they were all together In one place" – Acts 2:1

globalprayer2013United by a Prayer for the World, Christians from all over the world, from different cultures and denominations, from many diverse streams will gather in their homes, or where appropriate, assemble in stadiums, public auditoriums and open squares and many will devote portions of their Sunday morning Service to united prayer.

Some meetings will be small. Others will be large, but each one will be praying with the same vision of repentance and hope. As at the first Pentecost, we’ll worship God openly in Christ’s name and pray for the healing and blessing of the nations. As much as possible, we are seeking to gather in places beyond the walls of our church buildings.

On this day we are all praying WITH the world as we pray FOR the world.

April 2013: One million people praying for 2 billion children?!

Scripture of the month: At that time Jesus, full of joy through the Holy Spirit, said, “I praise you, Father, Lord of heaven and earth, because you have hidden these things from the wise and learned, and revealed them to little children. Yes, Father, for this is what you were pleased to do. (Luke 10:21)
This month we like to invite you to participate in the Global 4/14 Window Prayer movement!
The 4/14 Window refers to the demographic group from age four to fourteen years old, which is the most open and receptive to every form of spiritual and developmental input. God is calling us to a new missional focus: the 4/14 Window golden age of opportunity to transform the world. God is calling us to radically change the way we view children and to respond to their strategic importance and rightful place in His Kingdom.
The Yadav people have not less then 20 million children in this Window of great opportunities, therefore we can not neglect to prayerfully focus on them in order to prepare ministry among them.

Januari 2013 God’s concern for all the peoples of the world

Genesis 10:32 "These are the clans of Noah's sons, according to their lines of descent, within their nations. From these the nations spread out over the earth after the flood."

global worldIn Genesis chapter 10 we have a record of the first listing of unreached peoples. If there was any doubt about the universality of the Bible message, this chapter lays it to rest.

The Bible is a book about God’s concern for all the peoples of the world. It begins here in Genesis 10 and ends in Rev. 7:9 with representatives from every nation, tribe, people, and language worshiping the Lamb. You might say that one of the main purposes of the Bible is to document the progress of God’s plan to redeem all peoples from Genesis 10 to Revelation 7.

Pray that the Yadav caste will humbly understand their connection with other peoples, and their need for a savior.

November 2012: Pray for the persecuted church!

On Sunday, November 4, Christians around the world participated in the International Day of Prayer for the Persecuted Church.

If you missed the invitation to participate on November 4 you can always participate on an other day! Please do pray as a church for the persecuted church at least once a year!

As we want to participate and challenge you to do the same.

International day of Prayer for the persecuted church

If you receive this before date please challenge as many as possible to participate. If you receive this later… do the same.

Why don’t we meditate on the following scriptures before praying?

• Remember the words I spoke to you: 'No servant is greater than his master.' If they persecuted me, they will persecute you also. If they obeyed my teaching, they will obey yours also. (John 15:20)

• I persecuted the followers of this Way to their death, arresting both men and women and throwing them into prison, (Acts 22:4)

• They only heard the report: "The man who formerly persecuted us is now preaching the faith he once tried to destroy." (Galatians 1:23)

• Blessed are those who are persecuted because of righteousness, for theirs is the kingdom of heaven. Blessed are you when people insult you, persecute you and falsely say all kinds of evil against you because of me. Rejoice and be glad, because great is your reward in heaven, for in the same way they persecuted the prophets who were before you. (Matthew 5:10-12)

Let’s pray for:

• The persecuted church. Pray that they will keep up the faith.
• Those who persecuted the church. Pray that they will come to know the Truth!

God bless you all!

August 2012 prayer 4K vision

Bhagalpur district map

Scripture of the month: For the earth will be filled with the knowledge of the glory of the Lord as the waters cover the sea. (Habakkuk 2:14)

This month we like to introduce the 4K vision to you and zoom in to Bhagalpur district in Bihar.

What is 4K?

4K is a global mapping project aimed at responding to the world’s spiritual and physical needs more strategically. With the vision of reaching every person on Earth, 4K has created a framework called Omega Zones. The world always has roughly 4,000 Omega Zones, hence the name 4K.
In this Information Age of technology, the use of maps to track Gospel presence and basic life needs will make  the task of reaching everyone on Earth a reality.  Through the Omega Zone mapping grid, Christian workers will have a better understanding of where we are and where we are not. Every person on the planet has needs, whether they are spiritual or physical. Using 4K, the global task at hand will be more apparent on a map, and the Body of Christ will be better equipped to mobilize its resources.

This month we encourage you to pray and to proclaim that the Glory of God will cover every Omega Zone on earth as mentioned and promised in the scripture of the month!
